Refund policy

First return and/or exchange FREE for 30 days!

State Schools Relief offers free shipping for the first return and subsequent shipment of any approved exchange within 30 days of purchase.

Any additional returns or exchanges on the same order will require the postage to be paid by the customer.

A shipping fee of $8.80 will apply for any additional exchanges.

All orders can also be returned in person to our retail stores in Dandenong or Thomastown.

Returns Policy

States Schools Relief MUST be contacted prior to any return/exchange request.

Items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

NO RETURNS OR REFUNDS will be processed for items purchased via the School Saving Bonus.

We are happy to process your return for an exchange, on the conditions that: 

  1. The item is returned within 30 days of receipt of delivery.
  2. If you are returning clothing and/or shoe item/s; they must be unworn, unwashed, undamaged, unmarked and unaltered. 
  3. Clothing item/s MUST also be in their original condition with all tags still attached. 
  4. Shoes must be returned unworn and in its original box packaging. 
  5. Swimwear without the hygiene sticker attached cannot be returned.

To request a return please log into your Shopify account to select which item/s you wish to return. If you are requesting an exchange, please enter the size you require in the Customer Note Section, you will then receive an email approving the return with instructions on how and where to send the item/s.

Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you have received the wrong item. If any items are missing from your order without notice, please contact us immediately.

Any claim for missing items will not be approved if State Schools' Relief is not notified within 30 days of the order being received.

All claims will be carefully reviewed, and supporting documentation (such as photos of the package and contents) may be required for verification.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
 
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds

Once the return has been received and inspected, State Schools' Relief will advise if the refund is approved. Once approved, refunds are carried out within 2-3 business days back to your original payment method and you will be notified via email. Depending on your bank, your refund may take up to 7 days to process at your financial institution. If more than 15 business days have passed since approval, please contact us.
